Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABB) provided architectural-engineering investigative services for an existing retail shopping center where a Ralph´s Supermarket and many other retailers were experiencing water leaking coming up through the concrete floors.

It was reported that leaks were present ever since the building had been completed. The majority of the mall was built slab on grade and some portions were partially below grade. Water coming up through the slab was traveling down into other retailer’s space that were adjacent and below grade.

ABB carried out a detailed investigation by conducting visual reviews, a variety of water testing and, performing destructive testing. The data was compiled and a detailed report was provided to the client.
