Allana Buick & Bers (ABB) performed peer review services, prepared construction documents and provided construction monitoring services for the roofing, building envelope and below-grade systems. The Kirsch Center for Environmental Studies was a new construction project consisting of low and steep sloped roofing systems and stucco exterior.

The center is the lead demonstration building for energy innovation and sustainability of the California Community College system. The philosophy of the facility is a building that teaches about energy and resources. The two story building will be approximately 22,000 square feet and will meet the requirements of a LEED Silver Certified Sustainable Building as established by the U.S. Green Building Council.
