Allana Buick & Bers (ABB) was retained by The City of Walnut Creek, California in 2007 to complete a facility condition assessment of four city-owned buildings including one that is steel and concrete framed and two that are wood framed with glue-laminated structural elements.

ABB prepared a review of the mechanical, electrical, architectural, code compliance, ADA, hazardous materials, site work, landscaping, seismic systems, roof, building envelope and waterproofing. The study and report were prepared in accordance with the requirements of ASTM E-2018. The study also included preparation of a Facility Condition Assessment a budgeting recommendation and a component repair model, prepared under the recommendations of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) study: Lifecycle Model for Total Cost of Ownership.
